I don't like reading other people's artist statements

I feel like a failure a lot of the time, and for a lot of people, that’s probably pretty normal. I have a hard time coping with failure. Maybe I should go to therapy for that. Instead, I like to draw to free myself of negative feelings, to embrace those failures, and squeeze the life out of them. I enjoy the creative process because I like to be surprised, and despite the things that I can’t do in normal life, I can fail, relatively miserably, on paper, and it feels somewhat valuable. My hope is that others can relate to that and find solace, or even humor, in my failures and theirs.

Much love.
